Summer vacation is back, and there is no better place to spend quality time with your family than in Efteling-the fairy tale theme park in the south of the Netherlands.
The theme park is open and welcomes fewer visitors every day to comply with social guidance guidelines. As a result, the opening hours have been extended, so tourists can now visit until 10pm. All reservations must be made online before the visit. Those who choose to live in Efteling in one of the hotels or self-catering holiday homes will automatically receive a park pass during their stay.
In summer, guests can relax in the shady fairy forest or take a ride on water attractions such as the rapids of the Piranha River and the flying boat "Flying Dutchman". There are many entertainment activities here, such as the popular park show Raveleijn, and visitors can now go crazy on the new family roller coaster Max & Moritz, which opened in June.
Those who choose to visit on a summer night can enjoy the magical, illuminated Efteling in the dark, and can also ride the roller coaster until late at night. The entertainment shows are almost the same during the day and night, and the water show Aquanura is now also played during the day and night.
From July 4th, the park show Raveleijn returns to Efteling with a new storyline, which can be experienced both day and night. This updated open-air performance lasted 12 minutes, following five young heroes training them to become riders to protect their magical city of Raveleijn, just in case it is in danger.
Max and Moritz
The brand new double-family roller coaster Max & Moritz opened to the public on June 20 and was well received. This amusement device is suitable for children aged 4 to 10, with a minimum height of one meter and two tracks. Two trains ride in opposite directions and meet several times. Tourists can choose which train to take: Max (blue) or Moritz (green). Each track has its own unique and exciting experience, including sharp turns and acceleration.
